How long do coffee beans stay fresh in a vacuum canister?

Thanks to the vacuum, oxidation and loss of odor are greatly slowed down. Coffee beans stay fresh up to 2x longer than in a regular storage jar.

Can I also use it for ground coffee or other products?

No and yes! For coffee, you can only use whole beans. Finely ground coffee can damage the mechanism. The vacuum canister is suitable for tea, nuts, or other products you want to store airtight.

Do I have to vacuum every day?

No, only when you open and close the can. The lid detects vacuum loss and automatically re-establishes the vacuum, so you don't have to do anything.

Does it fit a whole bag of coffee beans?

Yes, the 250 gram storage container and 500 gram variants are designed for standard packaging from 250 g to 500 g.

Isn't the glass breakable?

The glass is made of borosilicate glass – heat-resistant, scratch-resistant and stronger than regular glass. However, caution is still advised in case of drops or bumps.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs start at €3.95. For orders over €30, we ship for free in the Netherlands. Prices for European shipping start at €5.95.

What is the processing time for my order?

Orders containing barista tools will be packed and offered to the carrier within 1 to 2 working days.

Barista Workshops are available immediately. The order confirmation serves as an admission ticket.

Clothing, mugs, bags and other custom made items take a bit longer. This is because the clothing goes through a Print On Demand process where designs are professionally applied to clothing items. Please allow approximately 3-6 business days for processing.

The Baristashop delivers within the Netherlands and Europe. In the Netherlands, you will receive your order within 1 to 2 business days after shipping.

Within Europe, shipping time is between 3 and 12 business days. The estimated time is visible per country during the check out procedure.
