Great latte art doesn't start with the pattern, but with the milk

You need to learn how much air to add, how to swirl the milk, and when the texture is fine enough to pour. If the milk is too thick, you'll get a blob of foam. If the milk is too thin, no pattern will form. Therefore, during this private workshop, you'll first practice controlling milk and microfoam. Afterwards, you'll translate that into pouring, the position of your cup, and simple latte art patterns that you can continue to practice at home.

You will start with the basics of frothing milk. This includes looking at the right amount of air, the role of swirling, temperature, and the sheen of the milk. You will learn why coarse foam doesn't pour well and why milk that is too thin doesn't create a clear design.
