What are we going to do?

Whether you have an ECM, Rancilio, QuickMill or another espresso machine for your home, the basis of making good coffee remains the same: hot water is pressed through ground coffee. With the right knowledge of this process, you will learn to make cappuccinos or black coffee of real quality.

Although each barista workshop is adapted to the needs of the participant, we always see a certain structure

Theory:

  • where does coffee come from?
  • Which flavour profiles grow in which countries?
  • How is coffee harvested?
  • What does roasting coffee do to its taste?
  • What tips can I use to buy coffee beans that suit my taste?

Practice:

  • How do I make a good espresso?
  • What happens if the espresso does not come out of the machine properly?
  • Which parameters help me to make consistently good espresso?
  • Which milk froths best?
  • How do I froth milk without many or no bubbles at all?
  • How do I pour the milk to make latte art?
