Collection: Coffee Distributors and Combination Tools

Coffee Dispensers & Combination Tools Collection: The Perfect Espresso!

A great espresso starts with an even distribution of the coffee in the filter basket. Our collection of coffee and espresso dividers, also known as distribution tools, offer ultimate control over this process. Whether you’re a home barista or work in a professional environment, a coffee divider is the ideal tool to take your espresso experience to the next level. Here you’ll find everything from separate coffee levelers to handy combination tools that allow you to divide and tamp in one go.

Why a Coffee Distributor?

A coffee leveler, or espresso leveler, ensures that your ground coffee is evenly distributed throughout the portafilter, giving you a consistent, full-bodied flavor in every cup of espresso. While a few taps with your hand after grinding may seem like a quick fix, it often lacks the precision needed for a perfect extraction. With a coffee leveler, you have complete control over the distribution, resulting in an even surface and a perfect base for tamping. This prevents channeling, ensures better extraction, and significantly improves the flavor of your espresso.

The Benefits of a Tamper & Divider Combination Tool

Because you always tamp after dividing your coffee, there are also handy combination tools available. These combine a divider with a tamper, allowing you to work easily and efficiently. Turn the tool over after dividing, and you immediately have a tamper in your hands that rests perfectly on the edge of your portafilter. This way you can be sure that you always tamp level, which is crucial for an even extraction. With a tamper & divider combination you not only save time and space, but you also increase the quality of your espresso.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Keep your coffee dispenser clean for optimum performance. Clean daily with a dry cloth and rinse regularly with warm water. Avoid dishwasher to extend its lifespan.

User instructions

1. Grind the Coffee Beans:
- Grind the coffee beans directly in the portafilter to the level slightly above the rim of the filter basket.

2. Use the Coffee Dispenser:
- Place the coffee spreader evenly on the ground coffee in the portafilter. Make sure the spreader is in full contact with the coffee and the filter basket.
- Turn the divider with light pressure and make a few circular movements. This helps to distribute the coffee evenly and create an even surface.
- Remove the divider and check if the coffee is evenly distributed. If the coffee is evenly distributed, you can now continue with tamping.

3. Tamping:
- If you have a combination tool, turn the tool over so that the tamper side is on top of the coffee.
- Use the tamper to press the coffee evenly and firmly. By resting the tamper on the edge of the portafilter, you can be sure that you always tamp level.

4. Check the Tamper:
- Make sure the coffee is evenly pressed and that there are no unwanted air bubbles or bumps. A well-pressed coffee ensures an even extraction and a better taste.

5. Clean the Tool:
- Clean the coffee dispenser or combination tool daily with a dry cloth or brush to remove excess coffee oil and ground coffee.
- For thorough cleaning, rinse the tool regularly with warm water and mild soap. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust or other damage.
- Avoid using the dishwasher; hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the tool.
