Can my personalized Workshop Mug be returned?

Personalized products, such as your unique Workshop Mug, cannot be returned under European law. This is because they have been customized especially for you and therefore cannot be resold. But don't worry: at the Barista Shop we always think along with you and look for solutions together if something is wrong.

Why can't personalized products be returned?

According to the European Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), custom-made or personalized products are excluded from the right of withdrawal. This means that you cannot simply return your order, because the product has been customized especially for you. Think of items that:

• Engraved with your name or message.
• Designed according to your specific wishes.
• Not suitable for resale to others.

The Workshop Mug falls into this category because it is customized based on your unique wishes.

Exceptions and our approach

Although personalized products cannot be returned as standard, we understand that situations can arise in which you are not satisfied. For example:

• There is something wrong with the product : If your Workshop Mug is defective or not delivered according to specifications, we are of course happy to help you. In this case you are entitled to repair, replacement or a refund.
