A naked portafilter, also called a bottomless portafilter, is a filter holder without a spout. This allows you to see the espresso extraction directly, which helps you improve your technique and detect errors such as channeling. With the naked portafilter you can also view the extraction from below very nicely, and create fun visuals for social media.

Ensure even distribution of the ground coffee (use a WDT tool if necessary) and tamp consistently. Proper puck preparation prevents splashing and ensures even extraction. If your cup is very low under the naked filter, place an inverted cup under your cup so that it is higher.

With a naked portafilter you can visually assess the extraction, which helps to improve your technique. In addition, you often get a richer crema because the espresso runs less along metal and stainless steel walls and cleaning is easier because there is no outlet where coffee residue can accumulate. Yes, but it does take some practice. Beginners can learn a lot from the immediate feedback a naked portafilter provides, but they should be prepared to adapt and improve their technique.

Rinse the portafilter with warm water after each use and clean the filter basket. If necessary, use a cleaning cloth and blind filter cleaner . Because there is no outlet, cleaning is easier and the portafilter remains more hygienic.

Processing time depends on what you buy. Orders with barista tools are packed and offered to the carrier within 1-2 business days.

Barista Workshops are available immediately. The order confirmation serves as an admission ticket.

Can I return my non-food items?

Yes, you can invoke the right of return, which allows you to return the ordered items within 14 days and cancel the sale.

Contact us within 14 days of receipt via info@debaristashop.nl and we will handle the return process together with you. You will receive the entire purchase amount including shipping costs back. After 14 days your right of return expires.

(Please note: this only applies to non-food items. Workshops and food items such as Torani Syrups and Coffee cannot be returned.)

What if the item is delivered to me damaged?

If it turns out that an item does not meet the standard conditions, we will deliver a new item as ordered by you in debaristashop.nl. Or we will return the total amount, including the shipping costs, after receiving the damaged item.
